A YOUNG LEADER FOR A YOUNG INDIA

Namaskara, I am Raksha Ramaiah.

I aspire to be the voice of Young India and empower them to achieve their dreams and ambition.

My political vision is rooted in Indian ethos, inspired by global outlook and driven by a sense of public service.

Unemployment

India’s population is made up of 65% youngsters below the age of 35. The youth are the bed rock of our economic growth and without worthy employment opportunities for the aspirational India, we cannot harness the power of youth in nation-building.

Water Conservation

Half of India is heavily water-stressed. Conservation of water is the need of the hour to nurtureour future generations. At present, we are only being able to save 8% of the rainwater. The future depends on us being responsible and conserving water!

Women Empowerment

The discrimination women face in all spheres of life is an undeniable truth. It’s time we took steps to empower our women politically, socially economically. There can be no equitable society without gender equality.

Youth Representation in Politics

India has world’s largest youth population. Indian youth need more political representatives who understand their dreams and aspirations. We need youth from all walks of life and from all strata of society to become the voice of the Young India.

My Vision & Mission

Vision

To build a nation honoring its ancient roots, celebrating its diversity, and ushering in modernity.

Mission

To provide a platform to citizens from every strata of society to bring about a positive change through the ideals of brotherhood, secularism, and ingenuity.

Tech-Enabled Governance

In today’s age, the need of technology for driving the development of the country in unparalleled as well as in building a corruption-free society. The real problem is with the attitude of those that have to use it. Hence, there is a need to push it from the top.

Agriculture for New-Age India

The major problem faced by the farming youth in India has been found to be ‘lack of training programme’ and ‘lack of timely guidance’. With agriculture being the primary source of livelihood for about 58% of India’s population, Indian Youth have to be made part of an agriculture revolution.

Hate-Free Society

It is pertinent that an ancient civilization like ours doesn’t give into the fascist rhetoric and empower communities to celebrate their brotherhood and take decisive steps to penalize hate mongers.
